Governance of the Limpopo Centralised Library Website

The Limpopo Centralised Library Website (LCLW) is overseen by a provincial governance framework to ensure accountability, service quality, and alignment with national library and information policies. The governance structure brings together administrative leadership, technical support, and community engagement roles to serve the people of Limpopo.

Organizational Structure

Provincial Library Board

  1. Provides strategic direction and policy oversight.
  2. Ensures compliance with provincial and national regulations.
  3. Advises on resource allocation and long-term planning.

Executive Management

  1. Responsible for day-to-day leadership and administration of the Centralised Library Website.
  2. Oversees partnerships with municipalities, schools, universities, and community organizations.

Departmental Divisions

  1. Library Services Division – manages catalogues, acquisitions, and branch operations.
  2. Digital Resources Division – manages eBooks, databases, online learning platforms, and ICT services.
  3. Community Engagement & Programs Division – coordinates literacy programs, outreach, and events.
  4. Support Services Division – covers HR, finance, and logistics.
